Dr. S Balaji is a Cardiologist based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He is available for consultation at the Sri Ramakrishna Hospital where he has been in full-time practice in Interventional and Clinical Cardiology for over 15 years, since June 1996. He can also be met for consultations at the Heart Care Centre located at RK Gardens in Chandragandhi Nagar. In addition, Dr. Balaji is a Visiting Cardiologist at several other hospitals in Coimbatore, including Ganga Hospital, VG Hospital, GR Hospital and Bethel Hospital. After receiving the MBBS degree through Coimbatore Medical College in 1990, Dr. Balaji spent six years in the United Kingdom. He underwent training in Cardiology there and obtained the title of MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians. He is also a Fellow of the Indian College of Cardiology. Dr. Balaji has a specific interest in coronary interventions and has performed thousands of such procedures in his career. He is much experienced with angiograms, non-coronary interventions and echocardiography. His involvement in clinical research has led to many studies being conducted, and he has been acknowledged in the UK for his efforts. He has been invited as a faculty participant to many cardiology-related meets in India and abroad.
